High school applications in New York City are due December 2. Based on the schools you are considering there are different components to your application – samples of your classwork, transcripts from your guidance counselor, essays, interviews or auditions.
Here are some ways to ensure that you have done your best on the application.
- Make sure you have all the elements you need for each school. Check with each school and read the instructions on the application carefully.
You work very hard as a high school student. It is one of the most demanding jobs you will have-balancing rigorous course work, community service, extra curricular activities and often part time employment. The last thing you want to do is RUSH the college process. By beginning the process as a sophomore in high school, you can be sure you have devoted all the time necessary to working toward your goal of the best possible college that you can attend.
